Rick Farmer is a managing member of Double R Engineering, LLC. He is a Registered Engineer in the State of Louisiana and has been performing PE certifications in the GOM for the past two years. He is a 35 year member of SPE, is recognized as a Certified Petroleum Engineer by SPE, and is currently serving as the National President for the American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE).He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and is currently serving as an Adjutant Professor at the University of Louisiana - Lafayette in the Petroleum Department, where he teaches courses in Introduction to Subsea Engineering and Advanced Wellbore Design. Rick graduated in 1982 from Mississippi State University with a BS in Petroleum Engineering.
