LAGCOE selects tech showcase winners

The Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition has announced seven 2015 New Technology Showcase winners selected to present their new technologies at this year’s conference with a 10-minute overview.

The LAGCOE award recognizes companies with revolutionary technologies that advance the process of discovering and producing oil and natural gas.

The winners and technologies are Concentric Pipe and Tool Rental for its superior safety wrench system; Halliburton – Oil and Gas for its VersaFlex XtremeGrip expandable liner hanger system; Halliburton for its SaltShield cementing service; Hypertherm for its plasma, laser and waterjet cutting products; PhdSoft for its structural integrity software; Pneumatic and Hydraulic Co. for its pneumatic and hydraulic pumps, valves, fittings, cylinders, systems, repairs and rentals; and Seminole Services for its well construction equipment liner hanger.

Winners will be showcased from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 28 during LAGCOE’s Oct. 27-29 conference at the Cajundome and Convention Center in Lafayette.
