Abu Dhabi, UAE, October 6, 2023 — Fumy Rita, Executive Director of Lagcoe, played a vital role in a prominent Louisiana delegation at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2023 held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from October 2 to 5. With a theme centered around "Decarbonising. Faster. Together," ADIPEC 2023 attracted over 160,000 visitors from around the world.

The Louisiana delegation, comprised of more than 20 representatives from various energy companies in the state, was joined by Lafayette Economic Development Authority CEO and President Mandi Mitchel, and key members of LAGCOE's Board of Directors, including Brenda Stelly of Oil Center Research International, and Jason Arceneaux of ARC Energy.

Under the guidance of the U.S. Commercial Services and Louisiana Economic Development, the Louisiana delegation had the unique opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and networking activities. The delegation was honored to meet with prominent figures, including U.S. Ambassador Martina Strong and His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al Jaber.
