Leo H. Franques Jr was a native of Acadia Parish Louisiana but moved to Los Angeles, where he worked as a regional manager of The Servco Co. He graduated from Louisiana State University. He served as a member of the board and executive committee. Franques was part of judge for Lagcoe queens. He retired in 1976 from The Servco Company but continued as an independent marketing consultant. He served as an advisor to the board of directors. In 1964, he became the director of the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of Nomads, SPE of AIME and IADC. He spent his later years in Houston, Texas, with his family.
