Lafayette Daily Advertiser: LAGCOE Awards $50,000 to University of Louisiana College of Engineering - The first faculty development endowment for the UL College of Engineering's Petroleum Engineering Department has been created by the Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition. The $50,000 perpetual gift by LAGCOE is the lead endowment in the College of Engineering's new Petroleum Engineering Fleur de lis Fund.

Lafayette Daily Advertiser: LAGCOE Names New Director - Angela Cring, a former geologist in the oil and gas industry, has been named Executive Director of the Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition, one of the largets oil and gas trade shows in the country.
ABiz: Angela Cring Is the New Face of LAGCOE - Angela Cring leads LAGCOE as the third Executive Director in its 57 year history. She plans and directs this exposition, one of the largest oil and gas shows in the United States.

LCVC Lifetime Achievement Award
LAGCOE has created over $175 million in direct spending in Lafayette in the last 30 years. In recognition, Lafayette Convention and Visitors Center presented Sally Ware, LAGCOE Executive Director with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
