“LAGCOE Sporting Clays tournament has consistently been a great event,” LAGCOE board of directors member Tom Hebert said. “It’s a good opportunity
to support the future growth of the energy industry while networking and having fun.”
The mission of the LAGCOE Sporting Clays Shoot is to support the LAGCOE Education Fund, a Fund at the Community Foundation of Acadiana, that provides
501(c)(3) funding for projects and programs that support educational efforts for or about the energy industry.
With funds raised by past LAGCOE Sporting Clays shoots, the LAGCOE Education Fund has provided college scholarships to five students currently pursuing
a STEM-centric degree, created an endowed professorship at SLCC, supported programs at the ULL College of Engineering, and supported LAGCOE programming
for workforce development programs and career fairs as well as the Future Energy Professionals Program.
