Tom Hudson is the CEO, a founder and partner of G2 LNG and RRM Chemplex, two mega projects being developed on a single site along the Calcasieu River ship channel in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. He has focused his entire career on the energy sector having served in management positions in oil and gas companies and in advisory roles on state and federal energy policy. An attorney, Tom has practiced law in both Baton Rouge and Washington, D.C., where he was the managing partner of a law firm recognized by Rollcall magazine as “the fastest growing firm in the DC area”. His practice focused on energy, telecommunications, appropriations, natural resources and international trade. He participated in the permitting of one of the first operational U.S. LNG import terminals and is currently working to realign federal energy policy to better support – and gain maximum benefit from – the country’s natural gas export potential. Previously, he served as Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator John Breaux and Executive Assistant to U.S. Senator Bennett Johnston. He also served in the Louisiana State Senate (1976-1988) where he was elected President Pro-Tempore and Chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee. Mr. Hudson received both his B.A. and J.D. degrees from LSU and resides in Baton Rouge.
