Edward Appiah-Brafoh is the Human Capital Manager at the Petroleum Commission of Ghana. Until his current position, he was the Chief Human Resource Officer at Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC). He oversees all Human Resource activities and operations at the Petroleum Commission of Ghana. He has contributed immensely to the Local Content Development and Administration programs in Ghana’s petroleum industry. He is a professional contributor to the localization programs of the Commission, ensuring that Ghanaians benefit from the oil and gas operations from the human resource standpoint. Mr. Appiah-Brafoh holds a Master of Science (M.Sc) Degree in Human Resource Development from Pittsburg State University, Kansas, USA. He also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) Degree in Communication (Public Relations) from the same University. He has a Bachelor of Education degree in Psychology from the University of Cape Coast. Mr. Appiah-Brafoh was inducted into America’s largest and most prestigious academic distinction honor society of Phi Kappa Phi in May 2003, by reason of his attainment of a perfect score in his Master of Arts degree in Communication. Mr. Appiah-Brafoh is a Member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources, Canada, a Member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), USA, and a Member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
